How To Start Down the Documentation Road

Hello Everyone,

I spoke with a friend this weekend who mentioned that he was looking
into purchasing a 1970 Camaro race car.  He mentioned that the car had
been a race car since day one, and that it had run in SCCA's A sedan
class, not the Trans-Am (He mentioned that David Tom of HARE said that
it hadn't been in any Trans-Am races).  The car's original owner was
supposedly from Wisconsin.  He said that he nor the current owner
knows anything else about the history of the car.  Does anyone have
any insight into how he might go about finding more info on the history of
the car?
