Sujit =E2=80=93 Sorry for getting off topic and rambling. Here=E2=80=99s =
a question or two. You mentioned that the vibration comes from the front =
left wheel during left turns. Since the vibration comes through the =
steering, I would suggest that both front wheels could be suspect. Look =
for any interference of tires with body or suspension parts. Does the =
vibration occur at slight steering angles or only when steering sharp =
left? Don=E2=80=99t discount things like a cracked wheel or more likely, =
a bad tire. I have heard first hand accounts that even new tires can be =
defective.

The rotor has been checked for run out. Only thing left is the bearing =
and wheel. The bearing is easy to change, but so far the replies don't =

It's not a misprint, unless the missing space between the zero and the =
ell count. It's mainly dyslexic or too-fast reading, or perhaps being =
more familiar with ft-lb convention than lb-ft that led him to see 101.

And I lost a front wheel on my TR3B at 70 mph on I-70 in 2014. I've not =
quite gotten over that episode yet, Yes, don't fool around with wheel =

=20
The root cause of my wheel-fell-off episode was a restorer who was more =
used to MG bearing preloads than a TR3's non-preloaded bearings. He =
read this part of the Red Book service instructions as 101 lb=C2=B7ft, =
not 10 lb=C2=B7ft. Yikes.

This happened in western Ohio, not too far from Macy's Garage as it =
turned out. And although Mark and Co. didn't do the work that led to =
the wheel coming off, they know my car and were able to take it into =

So listen to the voice of two of us with scary experiences. Take care =
