Allan,
I have a number of carb bodies with the broken lever area.
I have always wondered about that product you see in the info-mercials every
so often called "Allumalloy" or something like that.
The commercial says you can repair any Al alloy with these rods and a propane
torch. No flux reqired. Just a clean surface.
Has anyone ever used this product? and on SUs?
The infomercial shows them repairing something similar where the make a mold,
fill in the alloy, then grind, drill and tap.
Seems like it would work on SUs.
