By all means, try it if you think it might help.  But electrolytic corrosion
primarily happens between dissimilar metals (those with different electrolytic
potentials, like the plates of a battery).  For something like an MGA with some
aluminum body panels, it's a real problem.  But for a Triumph, or any reasonable
car, the body is all made of the same metal and so electrolytic corrosion is not
a problem.

And sacrificial anodes don't help with chemical corrosion, which is the more
common problem on cars.
