TR3 master cylinder trivia and question

Useless trivia for the day :

TR3 (with front disc brakes) and early TR3A took different master cylinders than
the later TR3As.  The early cylinders are P/N 504841 (body) or 203494 (complete
assembly) and have "Girling 310660" cast into the edge of the mounting flange.
The other side of the flange bears the legend "DIALOY".  According to the SPC,
these were used on cars from TS13046 through TS34310 (roughly mid 1958).

The later cylinders are P/N 507205 (body) or 122167 (complete assembly) and have
"310680" cast into the side of the boss where the fittings attach.  The other
side has "GIRLING".

The only appreciable difference seems to be the angle of the outlet fitting.
The early units have the outlet at right angles to the body, while the later
ones are at about a 45 degree angle.  All the threads, mounting holes and
internal components seem to be the same otherwise.

However, the SPC also lists another alternate MC assembly, 130561, with an
adaptor 509997 and a washer 509998; and the notation "to service vehicles from
TS.13046 to TS.34310".  I'm guessing these were cylinders with the right angle
outlet and larger threads, plus an adapter to convert to the smaller threads
found on the outlet pipe.  Does anyone know for sure ?
