The Ditzler code from the Moss USA catalog is 12163. When I had my signal
red TR4 painted, the body shop had no trouble using the code from the Moss
catalog for that color to get the correct paint. It was however, a single
stage paint - no clearcoat.

I am in the middle of a TR3 powder blue paint job. Currently I'm in the
body work stage, so the paint has not been ordered yet. I'll let you know
what I come up with as the time draws near.

In the meantime, if you find the correct code, could you please share it
with the list?

| Good Evening, All.
|
| The very good news is that our TR3 restoration is in its "final" stages
| (knowing that this, too, can be long and drawn out).
|
| We have decided to paint the car a powder blue, which was introduced in
| 1958.
|
| According to Piggott's Original Triumph TR, the Dockers paint code is
CGB77,
| or CHC38, or ICI HILUX M-048-8013, Pinchin-Johnson PJ 426HS or PJ 426LB,
or
| Berger (Ault and Wiborg), 20539.
|
| Does anyone have a modern correlation to any of these paint codes or know
of
| where I might find one?
|
| thanks.
