Push in the pin and pull.......if it does not come off easily.......spray 
with "PD Blaster, Liquid Wrench, WD-40.....let set over night........try 
again........if still no luck.........try spray and set again....it's a button 
with a 
spring behind it......if it is totally, totally, totally frozen......you'll 
have to break the knob!......sorry.........but the soak should work!!!
