Dale-
Look at the synchro hub splines- There is likely a spline machined down to
pass over the interlock plunger. It is very important this spline is in the
correct place- otherwise you get the jam up you describe. It will only be
machined on one side of the center, to allow one way movement. It is called
the "Master Spline", and I discovered it when I reassembled my transmission
incorrectly, with the same result.
