People have mentioned interest in seeing pics of my
situation with problems starting rebuilt engine. I
went one step further and did a 2 minute video. It is
all done with "new" bolt on flywheel in place, but
with 2 different starters. One original (post 50000)
starter and also a gear reduction starter. You can see
how they both produce similiar situations.
The video should give some insight (though it's pretty
fuzzy and grainy) into not just the visual of what's
happening, but also the audio. You can hear the
compression and exhuast stroke and all that.
