John, I'm not sure of the numbers conflict, but I do know that Charles
is bringing a TRS car down to the SE VTR next week. So if you are going
to be there then you can get your questions answered.

Hi List. A friend loaned me his July 1979 copy of 'Thoroughbred and
Classic Cars', in which he said there was an article on the TRS. The car
in the article was the one registered '929 HP', with the large number
'25' on it. What I found curious was that the article said the car had
just returned to England by a Rod Leach of the dealer firm 'Nostalgia'
from a Canadian owner. Something about the article made me take a look,
and sure enough, it was the very same '929 HP' that now resides at TRF!
I'm more than certain that Charles Runyan knows of this article and a
fair amount of the car's history, but I thought the List might be
interested in it as well. Your $0.02 of TR Trivia for the day! Cheers,
JD
