Hi Scott. I thought my anti-rattle spring had broken again also. When I
removed the lever it was intact. My new theory is that the pins that hold
the lever in place may be causing a rattle and need to be adjusted properly.
I followed the workshop manual. No rattles so far. But no opportunity for
"spirited" driving either. This was the only time I got a rattle after
replacing the spring the first time.
