I am going to be taking a set of original TR6 American Racing wheels to the
SE VTR in Georgia next week. These are the optional magnesium wheels offered
by the dealer in the early 70s. (They were listed in the factory Triumph
flyers). They belong to a friend who restored his TR6, and decided to go
with wires rather than the mags. They have been professionally polished and
painted (the spoke sections) and are in perfect condition. I have no idea of
the value of these wheels. I sold a set of TR 250 American Racing wheels (8
spoke wheels) several years ago for a LOT of money, but I don't know if the
TR6 wheels have the same value. Anyone have any ideas on what a fair price
