Mark, not to reopen any old debates, but try using something a bit thinner
than what you have now in your dashpots.  I know, that seems backwards, but
IMO it will induce a very small amount of 'lean bog' which will appear to
smooth out the throttle response without actually feeling like a bog.

I don't follow you here.  Are you suggesting that the cable stretches ?  Or
that the engine moves enough relative to the body to affect the linkage ?
