Thanks for the all the responses on this question, I'm going to assume
from the information everyone has provided , that the original design
was flat and that variations are due to damage or manufacturing
differences between different suppliers.
For me, the research phase of buying a Tr is both exciting and a bit
frightening. One of my past Tr3's was a wonderful little driver but had
been put together like an automotive version of the Frankenstein
monster. This time I would like to have a pretty much "correct car."
