<I'm looking for some specifics from tr4a and
6 owners who have gone with a wider tire. What size did you go with, what
brand and are you happy with them?>
I run Dunlop D65 touring 205/60-15 on stock rims. I am very happy with
them. they stick well in bad weather and fill the wheel well. I have seen
some cars with low profile tires that don't look right because too much of
the wheel well is exposed. I am running the D65 touring tire on the
suggestion of my tire guy. They have one less belt in them, which gives a
softer ride - I notice the difference on washboard roads. Remember these
tires are also used on Lincoln Continentals and my TR6 is a lot lighter.
