Hi Robert, here is the skinny. The people that did the galvanizing was a
company in New York Mills, Just outside Utica New York. That is about 70
miles west of Albany. The company name is "O.W. Hubbell & Sons, Inc, PO Box
37, New York Mills, NY 13417. Sorry the invoice doesn't have a phone number
and I have move out of New York so I don't have access to a phone book. This
company does sign posts and the like for thw state of New York so my project
was just a small little one for them. The charge was $100. It goes by the
weight of the objects and the minimun is $100. I don't remember what the
wieght that is, but I was below the minimum wieght so I was charge the
minimum. I also had the steel rim galvanized.

Now as to whether I am happy or not. The rims was a big mistake. The way
the galvanizing is done the rims came out with globs of metal making the rim
out of balance. I had to get another set of rims. The frame I really liked.
Make sure you tell them that you are going to paint the frame. They can
change the process some so that paint will adhere better. I had to metal
wash the frame to get the paint to stick. Not a big problem, but I could
have save some time and effort. The last thing I would mention is make sure
you are happy with the frame before you galvanize. Welders don't like
welding on something that is galvanized. It gives off bad fumes or
something. I had to have some more bending and welding to get the frame
ready for the new body.

Over all I am really happy with the frame and how it turned out galvanizing
and painting. I just wish the welding shop had done a better job. Still
fighting some alignment question.

Good Luck and let me know if I can be of any further help.
