Hi Bill & Mike & listers,

Did I see a comment about not spinning out in overdrive?

I ran an overdrive in my race car from 1967 until the late 80s.
I used a dash switch that I could use without moving my hand off the steering
wheel.
I had to really modify the overdrive unit, and even use an oil cooler, but
that was for a high BHP motor and full race tires. We were finally allowed
close ratio gears, so I only used the 7 speed for a few special tracks, and
my street TR3A.
