I am about to reassemble the rear hubs on my '72 GT6. There is a bit of wear where the inside wheel bearing has spun on the wheel hub. It is no longer really a press fit. Loctite makes a product that seems to be just the thing to salvage this part, their bearing/shaft sealer #660. Does anyone have experience with this product? Comments? It is also called "Quick Metal" and can be seen on their web site at: http://www.loctite.com/catalog/ Tom Howard '72 Triumph GT6 (and a good bit of USA iron) |
