Read a short blurb in the USAA Magazine about the the ten best drives in
America, they asking for input. But they suggested: HWY1 from Big Sur
to Santa Barbara you'll find rocky points, hairpin turns, stunning
views, historic missions, the Hearst Castle and more.

Leon County Canopy Roads Florida: Explore the back roads of the "other
Florida" under a canopy of live oaks, dogwoods and redbuds. Miscosukee
Road, north of Tallahassee, passses Goodwood Plantation.

State Hwy 177, Kansas: From Cassody to Council Grove, travel through the
rolling praire and cattle country. The new Tallgrass Prairie National
Preserve is near Strong City.

State Route 6A, Cape Cod, Massachusetts: This scenic highway runs along
Cape Cod, passing fishing villages, cranberry bogs, beaches and forests.

Going to the Sun Road Montana: Cross the Continental Divide and enjoy
breathtaking views of Glacier National Park. In late June, you'll see
snow-capped peaks and an abundance of wildflowers. Fall bring stunning
foliage.

I want to get my 79 TR7 in good enough condition to do a tour in the
June - August time frame around the US

Any Ideas?
