Question:

How many TR 250s are there running around the US right now? I know that
there were only roughly 8600 made total, but I don't see many posts to this
list with TR 250 owners. How many of you have one up and running, or are
trying, like me, to get one up and running (I know where 5 of them are:
Steve Thornton in Bowling Green, KY has one, I have one, and Henry Frye has
3 that he is making into one). I'm just curious as to how exclusive of a car
I do have.

Thank goodness for bonuses! My wife let me go a little wild and buy a bunch
of parts, enough, I hope, to get the car off of the jacks and back on the
ground by March. Last weekend I took all the OK dust and grease off of the
bottom of the car, which was not pretty, but the bottom of the car is. It
still amazes me as to how little (as in NO) rust there is on this car. After
painting everything on the bottom with POR 15 and Rustoleum, I'll be able to
put it back together.

One other question: I am redoing the steering, and to do that, I had to pull
the steering column. Is there any lubrication on the upper steering column
to facilitate easier handling of the steering wheel? If so, what is it?
Graphite? Grease?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.
