  Take the distributor apart, and install the
"business" end into the weights 180 degrees
out of phase. Total time, 10 minutes. Sorry
I don't have parts names, but the top part
that carries the plates and points cam mounts
on two pins, and can mount two ways.

  That should enable you to put the head exactly where
you want, as well as the base into the cam
properly.
