It won't matter, but the distributor will either have to be turned 180
degress to compensate, or you'll have to plug the spark plug
high-tension wires in differently.

Either way, it's probably going to cause a headache for whoever has to
work on the car next; I suggest ensuring that everything is "as expected".  

I'd guess that to make it "correct", temporarily install the distributor
and make sure that it's pointing the right direction when #1 cylinder is
about to fire.  Haynes manual *should* describe this procedure.
