Damn... I guess I need to throw away these 10" wide slicks. <G>   Seriously
though, wider is better in autocrossing too, where the amount of rubber on the
road is about as important as anything else.  Big contact patch, stiff
sidewalls and high pressure to keep the sidewall from rolling under.
