Yep, that's what the TR4 does - centrifugal (uses lead weights on the
distributor plate) and vacuum (connected to the carb throat by the "vacuum
line"). As far as how much difference either alone makes -- that's subjective
unless you are using sophisticated measuring equipment. Cheers.
