Not really. My 2.5 PI is a saloon, where the cutout switch is mounted in
a clip on the port (*) side of the bulkhead, close to where it meats the 
inner wing.

I do of course see TR-6 PIs from time to time, but I must admit I haven't 
particularily noticed where the switch is.
