I have my TR6 hardtop hanging from the garage ceiling with an apparatus
I bought a number of years ago. This thing could be easily reproduced
with 2 lengths of pipe (about a foot longer than the hard top is wide)
1 long nylon strap, 2 short nylon straps, 4 blocks of styrofoam, a compound
pulley, and nylon rope.
I could provide some details and maybe some photos if you're interested.
