The Bentley manual specifies that the TR6 steering rack be greased
through the plug at the top of the rack housing. The plug is to be
removed and a suitable grease fitting used. Well I got the plug out, but
I cannot find a matching nut to take to the hardware store to try to
match the thread of the plug.
Does anyone know the thread spec of the plug I am referring to? It seems
finer than the UNF size whose diameter is a match. I can't believe it is
a metric thread (or is it???).
