To the greasey gurus of the list,
I was driving one of my english cars and pondering.(Scarey huh) Why do
most british cars have those pretty wooden dashes? Old world charm? Show
there fine craftsmanship? Impress the chicks? No, I think not.
The english are superstious and it is a convenience feature. So that
before you attempt firing up the old iron bucket you can get some good
luck knocking those wrench turning knuckles on some proper wood.
