 ... you can't infect a mouse, or destroy a speaker by using software.

However, you will be able to simulate the effects of this (hoax) virus by
reaching around to the back of your computer and yanking all the cords
out.

If it's not a hoax, there's no way it can permanently damage the stuff
that's connected to your computer... turn them OFF, yes, but they can be
turned back on!
