joe et al, it is indeed a california spit, not a non california spit,
in looking at it today (finally got the wife's dodge out of the shop)
the two bottom hoses connect together, but in every diagram i have seen
there is a ARS hooked between the two, i don't have one, just straight
hose connection between the two bottom connections of the canisters. i
am still hoping someone at least knows someone with a cal spit that they
can take poloroids or something of or at least a 123456 b1 b2
description for me, im still confused, thats why i liked the old cars
and trucks no emmissions (not unlike joe) requirement, easy to swork on
. tia.

Atwell,
I saw your reply to Larry's emissions problem. I tried looking in the
VB
catalog for an answer and was more confused than when I started. Larry
has a
Non California Spit and there seems to be more than one way those hoses
were
connected. Moreover, the pictures don't reveal the whole hookup, only
the
connections at each end. Problem is, "which ends go with which
picture?"

I think your offer of "very crude descriptions" of how your car is
connected
will solve his problem. You can relate the descriptions to the VB
diagrams for
clarity. Copy me on this, I am curious.
