Paul,

I apologize for not providing a little more detail in my posting. The
biggest difference is that the U-Haul has two tire tracks, open in the
middle. The absolute minimum vehicle track which can fit is a TR3. There
are ramps on the inside of the tire tracks to guide the car onto the track.
My TR3 wheels were partially, very slightly, on this ramp. The tracks were
that narrow. The ramps were not much wider. It is a little difficult to
make sure you stay on the trailer. I almost dropped off the ramps while the
PO was directing me.

The Ryder trailer is a full width trailer and ramp, making it much easier,
just drive on and off. There is a full width floor and ramp. The only
kicker is that at least on the east coast it appears that Ryder wants you to
rent the truck also, and for me it was almost double the rent-a-wreck/U-Haul
price.

A two wheel hauler should be is fine, although I am NOT knowledgable on the
precautions in using the two wheelers. I only checked into them as far a
their weight, 800-900 pounds, then I knew I didn't have a qualified tow vehicle.
