Hi Egil,

good news for you!

I discovered a source for the 6cyl Rockers. (it'll take some more weeks for my
4cyl ones :-( )

Tony Lindsay-Dean
Phone 0044-181-890-6777 (same number for FAX, but on request only)
Mobil 0802-898-321

That guy sells rollerrockers that fit on the standard shaft, either bushed or
with needle bearings.
I saw these on the Technoclassica Exhibition in Essen/Germany. They looked
quite
good. Price is around 25 quid each.
Tony seems to be ok, he sells all sorts of goodies especially for 6cyl TR's.
Just try to call him.

I've got no relationship to.....bla,bla...

I'm still looking for other (cheap) sources for performance parts!!!

Triumphttune of UK also sells roller rockers, perhaps they are the same?
They are 1.65 ratio, I'm not sure if the shaft and pedestals are stock.

Does anyone have any experience with roller rockers?

I am considering them as an alternative to a higher lift cam (I am
currently running a TR5-cam), and I am imagining that roller rockers would
give less loads on the valve train compared to a standard setup for a
given lift.

Cam bearings may wear in a major way when a high lift cam and strong valve
springs are fitted (and a TR5 PI-cam is considered high-lift). This can be
a source of oil pressure problems. It seems the centre bearings might be
more prone to wear than the wider end bearings. The only cure is to line
bore and fit Spritfire 1500 type bearing shells.

Found it?
