Well, in my case I wouldn't be surprised if the chroming of the valve covers added some heat since the shop says they'll have to plate with strike nickel then copper, then regular nickel, then chrome. I just hope they still fit! OTOH, I would think these metals might actually shed heat quicker than the bare steel valve covers. Robb Baugher 73' Stag Marco Island, FL, USA |
