I think that the answer to you ? is, On the passenger side. There were
several changes made on the rear leaf spring in the TR2/3 series. At
TS3175 the front portion of the rear spring was stiffened "to meet the
demands of rally conditions"(Ref.Triumph dealers Service Bulletin,
Feb.1955). This was simply adding a second clip to the forward part of
the spring. Bill Piggott mentions a change later ion to provid the
pasenger with a softer ride. This was the addition of the 2 short plies
(spacers) to the spring.
