I'd guess that Standard-Triumph USA, BMC (and, of course, BLMC, etc. 
later on) did their own advertising, and information about same might 
not be readily available to British Heritage. Offhand, I don't know what 
might have happened to records of the American outlets, but one good 
source of information might be someone like Mike Cook (is he still with 
Jaguar?).
