You live in Heaven!!!! TR6/TR250 insurance full coverage, unlimited miles
is $350/year(SEK 500). Regular driver car like your VW (I have a Nissan
Sentra SE-R) is $700/year (SEK 1,000). A VW here in the US is more
expensive to insure(compared to a Japanese car), because of parts.

rates...
My everyday transport, a VW Jetta '86 costs SEK 2172 [USD 290] per year
with full coverage and unlimited mileage.
