Sorry to hear about the lousy weather at the TRF this year in PA. Glad to hear
you all enjoyed it.
Brad and I finally had our first Spit ride of the season. (Yes, I know it's
kinda late for that, but we have been extremely busy remodeling the kitchen and
various other parts of the house.)
We had a wonderful drive up to Welches,OR to the Resort at the Mountain where
the All Triumph Drive-in was held this year. The weather was gorgeous, the
people friendly, and the cars were all beautiful. If there was a daily driver
in the bunch, he must work out of his house!
The sad thing was that there were only 4 Spitfires and 2 GT6's out of all the
Triumphs! One of the Spitfires had been converted to a rotary engine. I thought
that was pretty unique!
We only stayed for a few hours but it was a fantastic outing for our first
trip.
