I had my mk1 spitfire tranny rebuilt this summer. Cost was $175 plus parts.
I supplied the parts which ran somewhere around $250 or so.
That price included rebuilding the D-type overdrive attached to it. I felt
that was a very good price and so far the tranny and OD seem to be doing
just fime.
