Item# 1
My fuel gauge on my 76 1500 is suddenly dead. It seems to have begun after
replacing fuel hoses and filters at the tank. Shorting the two wires at the
sender gets it working again. So its the sender but I was wondering if I
somehow screwed it up by moving around the metal pipe that goes into the
tank at the top. Is it possible its blocking the movement of the senders
float? I've moved the pipe around by nothing seems to help. I've got about
7-8 gallons in the tank now. Is this low enough to remove the sender?

Item# 2
the right side indicator is super slow and often stop flashing all together.
Bulbs stay lit when it stops. The left side is fine. Emergency flashers
are fine all round. Surely there isn't two separate flasher modules for
each side is there?
