while I wouldn't call it a _major_ pita (I've done it with tire irons and
some lube--changed tires, geez, get your mind out of the gutter...) and I
found it a _lot_ easier than the m/c tires I have to change on my bikes,
I'd pay someone else to do it if you don't have a lot of experience at it.
it's one of those things that it's easy to mess up a rim or tire bead with
all the brute force you'll be applying. and there's always the chance of
one of those irons flying back and breaking your nose/face/teeth. ymmv, of
course.

You need some special stuff.
A big hammer, a bar to remove the tire from the rim, and a lot of muscle !
If you can find a custom wheel house that mounts wheels I would try it
before I went to all the trouble.
