Shane,

I paid about $375 for a COMPLETE head rebuild a a reputable local engine shop.
This
included ALL new exhaust valves, hardened seats, a 3 angle valve job, hot
tanking,
magnaflux, enamel paint, .060" off the deck, .005" off the face for clean up.
Oh yeah, a
helicoil repair. I provided bronze valve guides from TRF. I used UK market
style double
valve springs.

I did my own porting. I used Kastner as a guide, unshrouded the intake valves,
cleaned
and polished the exhausts ports (you won't believe what comes out of there),
and left the
intake ports alone (for street use).

If you need rocker arm work, I reccomend Rocker Arm Specialists in CA. They
completely
redid my TR4A rocker assmbly for about $90. A total deal. (See the monster
list of
vendors.)

Good luck!
