And a third for the Braun light.=20

They sell two versions =E2=80=A6 just the light ... =

200.html>. The =E2=80=98just the light=E2=80=99 is currently on sale (at =
least for Inside Track members) for $22.

The great thing about them is that the take the ubiquitous 18650 lithium =
ion battery. There are multiple vendors from which you can order better =
batteries and a charger if you are so inclined. That way you (a) always =
have charged batteries on hand and (b) you may already have stuff that =
uses that battery anyway. I=E2=80=99d previously sprung for the =
Panasonic 3450mAH batteries for my other devices and am astounded at the =
battery life when used with these lights. Definitely in the =E2=80=98multi=
ple hours of bright light=E2=80=99 category.

The not so great thing, at least for me, is that they roll around unless =
you happen to be lighting up something where the light bar can be folded =
enough to keep it from rolling and it happens to shine were you need it =
in that configuration.

The magnet on the bottom of the light works well for attaching to a =
metal surface. To address the =E2=80=9CI want it to stand it up on my =
wooden work bench:, I looked in the junk box for a galvanized electrical =
cover plate and problem solved. It happened to be a rectangular plate so =
the =E2=80=98rolling around=E2=80=99 was also solved for most use cases.

Now if I could just fine a 18650 head lamp that wasn=E2=80=99t bulky and =
make me look like a SciFi monster I=E2=80=99d be home free!!
