The control of my HF 2,000 lb. DC winch is dying. It's an all-plastic
nightmare, and though I cleaned the contacts, the plastic mechanism isn't
snapping properly. There are no parts available - just a complete motor and
control. The winch is only $50 on sale, so I have that alternative.
Even with a new winch, though, I'd like to get a 12VDC, 100A, DPDT NO relay
and then I can use a long remote with light-weight wire and light-duty
switches. I haven't had any luck finding anything with a high-enough amp
rating, but if there's a DPDT NO car or truck solenoid it should be just
what I need.
Any suggestions?
