Normally it requires about 6" of floor.  Now, you could pour a 4" floor and
then, when you buy the lift, cut the floor and put in 6" footers where the
lift will go (I'm not sure how big they need to be.)

Run conduit to where you think one of the posts will be.  You want enough
room for electrical and air (you may need 2 runs depending on code)
