Karl I think you are correct, Chamberlain makes the Sears unit.  Mine, from
1974, is still running strong.  I did have to replace the bearing (pin?) on
the idler gear, and the circuit breaker, not bad for 30 years.  It may be
the most reliable 'appliance' in my home.
