Okay guys, sorry for jumping into the middle of a thread... but I have a
question. I have a two car uninsulated garage, and I wanted to heat it
this winter. It doesn't have to be 70 degrees, and I will only use it
when I am in there, not all the time.
Is there anything I can use that requires NO venting or permanent
installation?? I thought there were some semi-reasonably priced
electric heaters that you could hang from the rafters....
Again, this will only be only for short periods of time, so I don't mind
if it is expensive to run. I just want the initial cost to be
reasonable, and it needs to be able to take the chill out of the air.
By the way, I just ran dedicated 30 amp service to the garage, so I have
an electric line that can handle it. I just hope the line can handle
the heater AND the compressor at the same time. :-)
Thanks for any info. Specific models/sources/prices would certainly be
appreciated, as well as any first hand experience. I won't be here
forever, so I am NOT willing to run any vents/pipes or stuff like that.
