While all of you are working on the toilet problems, help me with a tub
problem. The tub drain is getting very slow. It has a "build in" drain
plug, so I haven't been able to run a snake down the first part of the
pipes. The tub has a chrome "plate" on the end under the inlet pipe and
above the drain. If I take it off, can I get the stopper out? or can I
run a snake down there and clean out the drain? This is a one year old
house, and nothing else has any problem draining. My daughter has been
back home, using this tub and I'm guessing it just some of her long
thick hair near the top of the drain pipes.

TIA

Dwade
