List,

I've enjoyed the discussion about removing broken E-Z Outs. Easiest way
I've ever seen this done was by welding a vertical lump of filler rod onto
the E-Z Out with a TIG welder, then grabbing this lump with a vice grips.
The combination of the heat and the new grip will either release the broken
piece, or free the threads. If it doesn't work the first time you can
always weld on a new lump. Sometimes it's nice working across the street
from an airframes shop.
