| Seeing this idea of shipping it as scrap metal reminds me of one of my best car stories. Back in the '60s a fellow I know bought a Lotus XI in California. Being a creative sort, he went to a Salvation Army Store and bought an old floor lamp, stuck it in the driver's seat, taped it in and shipped it back to Michigan in a Mayflower moving van shown on the Bill of Lading as a floor lamp. A lot cheaper than Passport! GJB |
