Might as well throw my hat into this one. My main bench is
very similar to those already described with one handy exception:
Across the back I built a box about 6 inches deep and 10 inches
high with A/C outlets every 2 feet, its great for soldering irons
and dremmels, etc. Mounted underneath is a large Lambda 12 volt
DC power supply that I bought at an AT&T surplus sale. I have
several fused bananna sockets built into said box- they are great
for testing auto equipment/accessories, etc.
